Playright Studio is a team of professional freelancers specializing in the localization of games and other
entertainment content.
Our philosophy is to “write like a playwright.”
Yes, our job is to localize your script, but we strive to write scripts that present themselves as having been
originally written in the target language.
Localization is a crucial process in the art of content creation. It has the potential to enhance or degrade
the original content. We understand that this is both an opportunity and a risk for the creator. That is why
we localize text taking into consideration various cultural elements of the target audience.
We will not simply translate your text word for word; we already have AI for that (somewhat). We understand
that different languages and different cultures express and even react differently when faced with the same
situation. A script written in one language will not have the same effect simply translated into another. That
is where the “playwrighting” comes in to deliver dialogue that the target audience can better relate, laugh,
cry, and sympathize with. This is what differentiates us from many of the rest.
